Edelbrock 5023 – E-Street Cylinder Head

Edelbrock E-Street Cylinder Heads are intended for your modern street rod, muscle car, or truck. The cylinder heads feature A356 aluminum castings which have been heat-treated to T-6 specs and ensure superior strength and quality. They have a unique combustion chamber design which improves the combustion process. The heads also feature larger-than-stock intake and exhaust ports which air flow through your engine. These features improve the engine’s efficiency, which in turn results in more horsepower, torque, and improved fuel efficiency. All cylinder heads are assembled with manganese bronze valve guides, powder metal interlocking valve seats, and stainless steel one-piece valves with hardened valve tips. The Edelbrock E-Street cylinder heads are a great choice for entry level street performance engines.

Important Note: Designed for use with hydraulic flat tappet camshafts less than .550 in. lift. Requires use of hardened pushrods. Part number EDL-9680 head bolt bushing kit required for use with 7/16 in. head bolts. The valve and seat combination, used in these heads, is not recommended for use with a hydraulic or mechanical roller camshafts.
